What Happened to Hotel Wales?

The hotel was sold, and was to be turned into luxury condominiums; each would have a view of Central Park.

The 10-story, neo-Renaissance-style Wales had 87 rooms, when it closed its doors.

Prior to its closure, DLJ Manhattan Real Estate, an affiliate of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, bought the Wales for USD $35 million in August 2017.
