Salisbury is a medieval cathedral city in the southern English county of Wiltshire. It’s 9 miles south of the iconic prehistoric stone circle at Stonehenge, which stands on the grassland of Salisbury Plain. Things to Do in Salisbury

One of Salisbury’s most famous features, is it’s ancient Salisbury Cathedral. But there’s always the internationally famous Stonehenge to pay a visit to, a short 9 miles north of the city. Other attractions include The Salisbury Museum and the Iron Age Fort at Old Sarum.

For families, the wonderful Peppa Pig World is nearby, or the older people among our group may like to pay a visit to nearby town of Shaftesbury, where the famous “Gold’s Hill” which featured in those nostalgic Hovis adverts can be found.
