About
Travel Dialog is the travel publication that talks to real travelers, one at a time.
We publish long-form Q&A interviews with people who have actually taken a trip: budget, itinerary, mistakes, and what they wish they had known. Two to four new interviews go out every month. Destination deep-dives are built on and cite those interviews. Practical planning pages fold the same interviewees back in when their paperwork or their season is relevant.
Why this format
You learn more about a place from one honest traveler than from twenty listicles. The interview format is the moat: a destination page that quotes six named travelers is not something an AI can fake. Named editors, named interviewees, named restaurants, named routes.
What we do not do
- No sponsored posts in Year 1. Editorial trust is the whole product.
- No gifted-stay puffery. Nobody appears on the site because they paid a fee or gave us a room.
- No AI-generated affiliate slop.
- No influencer voice.
- Every affiliate link is disclosed above the widget it accompanies.
